Hi. I’m Maria.

A Creative Director at VML Portugal. I have more than 15 years of experience in the creative industry at international agencies such as Leo Burnett London, Saatchi & Saatchi, VCCP, and Wunderman Thompson UK, where I worked on accounts like Canon, Red Cross, Nestlé, Avon, HSBC, Domino’s Pizza, Purina and many more.
Tech for Good Ideas have a special place in my heart. In 2023, after 10 years working and living in London, I returned to Portugal as International Creative Director at VML, where I lead the UNICEF Global account, Santander, Wells and Compal.
I develop campaigns, pitch ideas, oversee projects from start to finish, and help build a good environment for the creative teams.
I am also an artist, psychologist, firefighter, and sometimes even a magician. Or isn’t that what being a true advertiser is all about?
